Deeply saddened, Shailesh Lodha, best known for playing Taarak Mehta in the hit sitcom “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,” is going through a difficult time. The actor recently lost his father, Shyam Singh Lodha, and he shared his sorrow on social media with an emotional tweet that touched many people.
Shailesh posted a heartfelt photo of himself with his late father on Instagram along with a heartfelt message that perfectly captured his suffering. He said, “जो भी हूँ…आप की परछाई हूँ…,” in his post.आज सुबह के सूरज ने जगत तो रोशन किया पर हमारी ज़िन्दगी में अँधेरा हो गया…..पापा ने देह त्याग दी….आंसुओं की भाषा होती तो कुछ लिख पाता…..कश बार फिर से कह दीजिये नाबबलू “I owe all I am to you. Your shadow is me. The globe may have been illuminated by the sun this morning, but darkness has descended upon my existence. Dad is no longer with us. Had tears the ability to speak, I would have written something. Call me Bablu again, please.”)
Upon sharing the news of his father’s demise on Instagram, Shailesh received condolences from both fans and fellow actors from “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.” The show’s Mrs. Roshan, Jennifer Mistry, made a sincere “Om shanti” remark. Please be careful. In a similar vein, Ambika Ranjankar, who is most known for playing Komal Hathi, wrote “Om shanti” to show her sympathies.
Shailesh Lodha became incredibly well-known for his role as Taarak Mehta in the famous series “TMKOC,” which featured Dilip Joshi. With his performance, he garnered a sizable fan base, but in 2022, he decided to end the series. ETimes reports indicate that Shailesh was deeply offended by the actions of the show’s producer, Asit Modi, and that this is what led to his departure.
Shailesh reminisced about his departure, saying, “I couldn’t stand it when Asit Kumarr Modi spoke to me in such an offensive, crude manner. It wasn’t the first occasion. “Yahan par sab kaam karne waale mere naukar hai” (Everyone working here is my servant) was what he had said at the time. I had issue with his behaviour and language at that time as well.
Shailesh has clearly had a difficult time since his father passed away, and the outpouring of love and support from his peers and fans is evidence of the effect he has made both on and off screen.
